Run the installer
Double-click the setup file and follow the steps. Windows asks for administrator rights because the installer adds the firewall rule. On first start Windows reports “Unknown publisher”: click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
This page sums up what you need to set the program up and run it. The full manual, with every screenshot, is available as a PDF.
About 26 pages covering every display, every setting and the routine for meet day, screenshots included.

Time Keeper Live opens a window with the addresses and starts the control panel in your browser. This window has to stay open during the meet. To quit, close it.
In the control panel under Setup, enter the name of the meet, the number of lanes, the pool length and the numbering. Language, colour and name formatting are there as well.
Without a key everything runs, but the displays carry a watermark. Under Setup, card Licence, enter the licensee exactly as it appears in the key, then the key itself. The watermark disappears straight away.
Install a new version straight over the old one. Settings, logos and the Meet Manager import are kept, they live outside the program folder.
In the Quantum, switch on the output to DH Swimify. In the control panel under Setup, Connection, enable the DH Swimify option and enter the address of the Quantum computer, default port 26800. The status light at the top of the panel shows whether data is arriving. The /quantum page shows every incoming message.
In Splash Meet Manager under Settings, Live Results, switch on the Live Info Server and note the port. Enter that port and the address of the MM computer in the Meet Manager tab, then run the import. That gives you start lists, names, club codes, entry times and the schedule. The import stays stored locally.
Create one browser source per overlay, size exactly 1920 x 1080, address for example http://localhost:8080/live. It matters that the size matches the resolution set in the control panel. To switch scenes automatically, enable the WebSocket server in OBS and enter address, port and password in the OBS tab.
On the display computer open the browser full screen at http://ADDRESS:8080/scoreboard?id=1. For the announcer, http://ADDRESS:8080/speaker. ADDRESS is the network address of the main computer, shown in the start window.
In the control panel under Status, start the simulator. It plays complete heats so you can check every display before the timing system is connected.
Timing system connected and light green, Meet Manager import done, session selected, displays full screen, OBS sources visible, cabling checked in test mode.
On the announcer monitor choose the Q-Test button and put it on the display. Every pulse appears large on the scoreboard and is counted per lane and pool end: touchpad yellow, starting block blue, semi-automatic button red. You see immediately which lane is not reporting yet.
There is nothing to do. Heat loaded, start, touches and the official result all come from the timing system, and every display follows by itself.
The buttons at the bottom of the announcer monitor only prepare, they do not change the display yet. Only the yellow bar above puts the selected mode on the display. A green dot on the button shows what is on air.
First fetch the ranking from Meet Manager, then call up the event. The first click shows the title, then each click moves one place further: 3rd, 2nd, 1st. The button always names who comes next.
Lane introductions step through the lanes of the heat one by one. Announcements show free text, with a smiley if you want one. The flag covers the whole picture for the anthem and can be chosen from nine countries.
Check that the black program window is still open and that the address is right. The control monitor shows at a glance when the last data arrived.
Check the status light in the control panel. Red means no connection. Then check in the Quantum that the output to DH Swimify is running and that both computers are on the same network.
The Meet Manager import is too old or missing. Run the import again in the Meet Manager tab. Make sure the same meet and the same session are open in Meet Manager.
The emergency stop, in the control panel and in the control monitor, hides every graphic immediately, flag and announcements included.
On other devices replace localhost with the network address of the main computer. It is shown in the start window of the program.
